Horbury School

Challenge

Horbury School were frustrated at receiving applications which were not completed correctly and with formatting that corrupted in different versions of word. They loved the redesign we developed for their recruitment advertising and asked if we could make the application form look as good.

Solution

Using an interactive pdf the form now has certain key information embedded as a required fields - for example diversity monitoring. Limiting the number of characters that can be used in the boxes also means that the information is all formatted correctly. The form can be downloaded or completed online.

Birmingham Royal Ballet

Challenge

MKH Recruitment Solutions were asked to design a new and innovative approach to The Birmingham Royal Ballet advertising. They had used the same design for a number of years and wanted a fresh and more creative approach to enhance their recruitment campaigns.

Solution

A new creative design and supporting application form was produced celebrating the 20th Anniversary of theBirmingham Royal Ballet. MKH then researched the most cost effective media to generate the best possible response.

Specsavers

Challenge

A number of UK Optical professionals were needed to become Joint Venture Partners for a target of 300 practices to be opened across Australia and New Zealand.

Solution

A range of designs and copy were put together to attract those professionals already considering a change of location as well as those who hadn’t considered this before. The campaign successfully ran across a range of professional press throughout 2009 and for 2010 a new range of designs has been created to target the few remaining vacant practices.

David Lewis

Challenge

MKH was approached to help recruit 46 full time Care Officers for David Lewis. They had experienced problems recruiting to this role and wanted a completely new approach.

Solution

After an extensive fact finding exercise, a 12 month recruitment campaign was put in place incorporating print, digital and radio advertising. A microsite was also introduced allowing potential candidates the opportunity to apply online, retrieve information and view a podcast showing a “Day in the Life of a Care Officer”. The success of the campaign has not only filled the required roles, it has also raised awareness from the local community.

Essex Cares

Challenge

To attract key Support Workers to a new Reablement Service for one of the first local authority trading companies set up to deal with adult social care.

Solution

A series of full colour advertisements highlighting the personal attributes with rewards focussed on job satisfaction and training. The advertising ran as an integrated multi-media, print, digital, radio and poster/leaflets campaign themed around Open Days held at key locations as well as a destination micro site.

What the client said...

Although early days in the recruitment schedule initial indications are that the campaign has generated a lot of interest locally with many people attending the Open Days plus considerable numbers of candidates registering to the micro site seeking more details and application forms. Due to the increasing demand for additional staff for the service more recruitment programmes are now being planned using the same advertising concept.
